<3 This tribe has several people good at design it seems. I have a fair amount of experience with pictures editing, so i can contribute aswell. I will check this later on because im still trying to finish the project that's due tomorrow. But i will be checking in and out to see if anyone has any ideas or thoughts about what should we do.

I also have some experience with photo editing but it's been ages so I wouldn't count on that haha.
Does anyone have any ideas for how you think camp should look? Do we want to get literal post-apocalyptic here and have runes and everything? I could be way overthinking this haha.

Okay, here's what I've been thinking, and you guys can feel free to hate on it all you like! I really like Katie's idea of ruins, but I also think we should throw in some greenery - after all, we're supposed to be living in a new world, right? So there'd probably be some kind of trees and things appearing among the ruins. So, here's what I was thinking of for a base: Click Here!It's a picture that I took of some actual ruins in some backwater part of Romania, and I think it'd make a pretty decent campsite for us. I'm going to mess with the colors and stuff, make it look a bit more gloomy and end-of-the-world-y, and if you guys like the final product then we can see about adding stuff. Another idea I had was that it might be nice to get a bit of a Garden of Eden vibe going. If we add some greenery in there, that'd go along with the whole "new world" vibe that the game is based around. |

H'okay, I'm going to bed now, but here's the basic jist of what I have going, complete with pictures of everybody. The way I envision it, Pete/Christine are building the campfire (David, could you possibly make that animated too?) Chelsea's splitting wood, Vee/Sophie/Katie are hunting birds or rats or something, and me, David, and Eddie are hanging out in the shelter. Tomorrow I'll crop all the edges of everybody's picture and make it pretty, then make the background all dark and stuff like the second picture. (I need to add all of the people into the first version, then darken it again afterwards, otherwise everybody's skin looks WAY too bright.) So, if anybody is looking for a way to contribute, we could really use pictures of wood, firewood, a campfire, some pots and pans, basically anything that you can think of that would go in a camp. It can be clipart, or photos, or whatever!  EDIT: Just to clarify, this is a demo version. The real thing will be bigger, and higher quality. |

I love that mainly b/c I look FIERCE AS HELL! But I'm loving this ruin theme. I thought since we're goign with this ruin idea, maybe some abandoned building could be our firewood source? Again...I could be over thinking this..  If not, there's normal fire wood and a campfire:   Machete:  Pot:  Water canteens:  I feel like for the most part those all kind of fit in with a ruin theme (except the pot, sorry it's shiny). I wish I could make something out of them, but I'm at work and only have paint so there's that. |
